I am an author with lynda.com, the world's largest video tutorial company. I've produced three tutorials and have several others in the works.

My most recent tutorial is Growing and Sharing Your Family Tree. I thoroughly enjoy family tree research, I've been using genealogy software for about 20 years, and teach genealogy courses in the community education program at the Santa Rosa Junior College in Santa Rosa, CA. My lynda.com genealogy series helps people use the Internet to find ancestors, use Family Tree Maker to organize their information, and then share their family stories with other family members.

My other two tutorials are on Adobe Premiere Elements. Here's a link to my tutorial series on Premiere Elements 7 and here's a link to my tutorial series on Premiere Elements 8.

Premiere Elements is an excellent video editing and DVD authoring product aimed at hobbyists. If you've used something like Windows Movie Maker and discovered you wanted more options, Premiere Elements will probably fit the bill. I work with Adobe Premiere Pro, the professional video editor, and Premiere Elements has about 75% of Premiere Pro's features for about one-sixth the price. In any event, if you own Premiere Elements, my lynda.com tutorials can be very helpful.
